Officially verified games
This table is read directly from the project's COMPATIBILITY.md. A question mark upstream means nobody has verified that combination yet.

Dreaming Sarah
A 2D platformer, and the project's reference title. The README states it runs at a stable 60 fps on a GTX 1050 Ti with an i5-7500. It is the only retail game the table calls playable, and only on Windows; the Linux column is still a question mark.
DOOM Shareware (homebrew)
A public PS5 homebrew, lowbit/ps5-doom. Upstream records it in game on Windows through E1M1 and later maps, and
on Linux in E1M1 using software Vulkan only. The notes attached to the table add that the Windows results came from main plus open pull
requests, and that the Linux run was inside a container with Mesa llvmpipe and no hardware GPU, at about 35 FPS.
Linux with a hardware GPU, and the current main branch without extra pull requests. Keep that in mind when you read any success story.
How to read a status
Getting a game to run happens in stages, and each stage is a separate achievement:
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Relinks | The relinker converts the executable without an error. Nothing has run yet. |
| Boots | The process starts and gets past import resolution and initialisation. |
| Renders | First frames, logos or a menu appear. Often where graphics bugs show up. |
| In game | Actual gameplay is reached, possibly with glitches, missing audio or low performance. |
| Playable | Recorded as playable in the official table, on the stated platform and hardware. |
AnyPS5 is strict by design: unsupported states throw an error and the process exits instead of limping on. So a title either gets through a stage cleanly or stops with a message that tells contributors what to implement next.
Bring-up tracker: 28 games, 33 threads
These are the titles with a thread in the repository's Game bring-up discussion category, newest activity first. The notes are the thread authors' own titles. Most results depend on patched branches or unmerged pull requests.
Appearing here means someone is working on the title. It does not mean the game runs on release v0.1.1.

Look up any game upstream
Not in the tracker? Search the repository's discussions, issues and pull requests for a title or PPSA ID. The results open on github.com.
A safe first test
If you want to confirm your setup works before touching a commercial game, use what upstream uses: the
DOOM Shareware homebrew. It is openly published, small, and has documented results on both Windows and Linux.
The compatibility notes mention one quirk on Linux: a /download0 directory must exist beside the executable.
Then follow the setup guide as you would for any other title.
Reporting a result
Useful reports are reproducible. Before posting in Game bring-up, collect:
- The game's name and PPSA title ID, in the thread title, in the same form as existing threads.
- Operating system, GPU, driver and CPU.
- The exact commit of
mainyou built, or the release tag, plus every extra pull request or local patch. - The relinker command you used and the first error printed to stderr, if any.
Check for an existing thread first; several games above already have more than one. The repository has 646 open issues and pull requests, so duplicates slow everyone down.
