What this site is
The AnyPS5 repository documents itself in a deliberately dry, compact style aimed at contributors. This guide exists for everyone else: people who found the project through a search, want to know what it is, whether it is safe to download, and what it can really do today.
The official home of AnyPS5 is github.com/boykopovar/AnyPS5. All downloads, issues and discussions happen there.
Where the data comes from
- Star, fork, contributor and pull request counts, release files and download numbers: the public GitHub API.
- Library and shader coverage: the project's own progress dashboard data.
- Verified games: parsed from COMPATIBILITY.md in the repository.
- Bring-up threads: the repository's Game bring-up discussion category.
- Instructions and options: the upstream user and developer documentation, restated in plainer language and linked at the end of each section.
The numbers on this site were last synced on Oct 11, 2026. Each page shows the date it was checked.
Editorial rules
- No game files, firmware, keys or binaries are hosted or linked here, and there are no instructions for obtaining or decrypting them.
- Download links point only to the official GitHub repository.
- A game is called “verified” or “playable” only when the upstream compatibility table says so. Everything else is labelled as work in progress.
- When the project has not tested something, this guide says “not verified” instead of guessing.
Corrections
If something here disagrees with the repository, the repository is right. Problems with AnyPS5 itself belong in the upstream issue tracker, not here.
